Taking a Step of Faith that We Will Sell

This is only Tuesday, but all day it felt like Thursday, the week is going way to slow. It was a very chilly morning at 35 degrees and stayed in the mid 50's all day with a chill in the wind.

I got to work and there wasn't a sound anywhere. I had to go check to see if anyone was really there. Mr & Mrs Boss were both there but working behind closed doors, which is normal for this time of month. They both start doing reports for the month end. I couldn't get into anything on my PC so had to find the PC guy that was working on the server. When the computer guy (not our employee) moved us to the new server he didn't move anything from the employee folders. All my work was in the employee folder, so everything I've created for 2 1/2 years is gone. It's going to take hours to re-create, so figured I'd only do it if it's really needed. It would mean looking up all the hard copies, if there are any and re-create the reports. I have all the resumes, proposals, Christmas lists, and many other reports that made my job easy. I'm not really worried about it, I'll probably be gone before a lot of it will be needed. It's a love hate relationship with computers. We were told all the stuff is on the old server, it's mirrored three times, so maybe in time, they'll find it all. All the employees lost everything so it's not just me.

When I got off work at 1:00, I picked up mom and got some errands done. We got groceries, went to Big Lots for some plastic boxes, checked on formals for the wedding then took her home. I stowed some stuff that I have sitting around under the bed and anywhere else I could hide stuff for tomorrows photo session that the Realtor wants to do. She's going to do virtual photos in all the rooms. That should be interesting and I'm hoping I'm here when she does it.

The reason for the fingers crossed picture is, I signed us up for Rockport, TX for next March 2010, for a whole month to be with the RV-Dreamers gathering. It's at The Last Resort in site 83, if we don't sell or have our RV by January, they want me to call them for a cancellation or put me on standby if we're close to coming out to them. That's their busy time of year and I don't want to hold them up through March if some of the dreamers are already there and have their RV. I'm stepping out on faith and so excited. Let's hope it all works out, at least I can cancel if something goes wrong.
