2008 Elections Today

It rained all night and most of the day. We haven't had rain in awhile and glad to see it. I hope that didn't stop anyone from voting in NC, it's a critical state. I always try to post by 5:00pm so there's no way to know who won at this time, we may not know for days. The world is watching.

There's excitement in the air. Work was no different. We had a lot of clients in the office today which meant I was moved out. Everyone was talking about who will win the election and what will happen. I did a lot of sorting resumes which kept coming in all morning. I was busy and the time went very fast. I even took work home with me to get it done for tomorrow. We're getting bids for projects so there's a lot of mailings. I left at 1:00pm.

When I got home, I ate, did the weekly ironing then worked on looking up contractors for work on the computer. I also did the monthly bills, budgets and scanned some photos. It's great having two computers side by side to get things done faster.

I noticed the leaves are coming down so the ground is covered and that makes it slippery. The grounds crew will be here the end of the week blowing all the leaves in piles. I remember the days when we piled them up and jumped in them. That was the fun times.

I'm still in suspense so will keep you in suspense, should know something really neat tomorrow.
