Things I Found

This morning was a bummer getting up. We didn't go to bed till after 1am. I was in the chatroom way too late having a party for Ellie & Jim's anniversary and Bob's birthday. Now, you can't imagine the fun we have having a party in a chatroom. People can come up with the coolest stuff. There were 16 people in there by 11pm est. What a hoot!!!

Happy birthday Bob!! Happy Anniversary Ellie & Jim. We met both parties at the rally. We'll meet up again as soon as we're on the road, or even before. Since it was such a great time in the chatroom it sure helped my mood from yesterday. Today I was totally back to normal.

I did give my four hours to the work place. I did more filing and my boss gave me a new website from the State Employment office to check into. People are losing their jobs and we're wanting to hire, so copied off several applicants for the male boss to check into and talk with them. It's a great site and it's all free. I'm surprised that it's free, but sure is a good one.

When I got home I decided to sort more STUFF. I have a cedar chest that I got when I was a senior in high school. It has a small drawer in the bottom of it. I have all my report cards stored there, but today I found a little bitty envelope. It was my wisdom teeth!!! That gave me a laugh, also brought back memories of how I looked and felt that day when I had all four wisdom teeth removed. I also found 8 diaries. I blogged back in junior high, but it was called keeping a diary back then. The one that's that's really neat is when they landed on the moon. My dad was so sure it was a set done in "Hollywood" and it wasn't real. I wrote about it. I'll have to read back on some of them and see what else I can find. Then I'll throw them all out.

I thought I'd put in a few pictures of todays work.

Bookcase to get sorted out. This are Jim's problem

My bookshelf, mostly how to books for the computer, which doesn't do me much good since I need to SEE something done instead of reading about it. Also the magazines to be taken to the library.

More stuff to organize, these are Jim's music CD's that he's making MP3's with and putting on CD's. I guess it's making the files smaller so he can put a LOT of music unto one CD. We're trying to save space and weight.

Hurricane bobbleheads we're selling. Right now they're on Craigslist, after this weekend we'll put it to Ebay.

This is a very sturdy hanging shelf. It's very heavy so selling it on Craigslist. Not sure about Ebay, it's too heavy to ship.

Just thought I'd show what we're selling.

This little gal has toilet paper under her. I'm hoping to sell her too. She's quite an asset for those times that you forget to get the essentials at the store.

Isn't this fun? Kinda, yes. It's fun finding things you forgot you had.
And it's all because in

1 year 18 months 13 days 15 hours 51 minutes we're going to buy an RV/Truck and hit the road

I'm a visual person too. Reading all the manuals in the world doesn't help me much.

My Mom used to crochet those dresses for the dolls that sit on the toilet paper. Neat! Wonder if people still do that?

My grandmother use to make string bonnets. You put balls of string in them to wrap packages...man was that long ago...LOL The string came out of the girls mouth...she had a bonnet on...Oh well you had to see it to understand...kind of goes with that you have to see it and not read it. See ya tonight
