On Time!

I got up at 9 this morning. That's not bad. After reading emails and a few blogs I started scanning pictures again. I also added the diplomas and retirement USAF papers from Jim's pile of things to do. They might come in handy sometime.

Sandra from RV-Dreams gave me another blog of someone that's preparing to go fulltime.
Warner RV NEWS

From that one I found
The Great RV Escape

I counted up the blogs I read at least once a week. There's 52. Some don't write everyday. I'm paying closer attention to each and everyone. Blogs from people that are fulltime, I check to see what do they during the day and those that are preparing to go full time I see if I'm on the right track.

I'm also working on a suggestion from RV-Dreams chat. I'm collecting all my recipes that are favorites and putting them on the computer, less paper. I hate the kitchen, so there's not many of them. If there's anything that I really would NEED, I'll just google it and get the best recipe for that meal. Most on the internet are way to fancy for us. The RV-Dreams recipe book will be a favorite for a very long time.

I got to work at 12:00 and found out our new guy wasn't on time again. What's up with not being ON TIME for work? He's been with us for almost two weeks and hasn't been on time even once! He's from Idaho and gets lost, but it's still no excuse, you start out earlier. My boss was in a very bad mood because of it today. He was suppose to be at a client by 9:00 and he didn't show up till almost that time with over 45 minute to drive it. Oh well. Not my problem, well it is kinda. If we lose this client we'll have to close the doors, it's the million dollar project.

I did find out one of other clients has put a stop to any work of expanding. They do something with potatoes and the potatoes are under water this year in the midwest. We'll be losing thousands of dollars from that work not coming in.

On a brighter note: this picture is one of my favorite pass times as a kid. I'm not sure if I've posted this earlier or not. I started this dress in January 1962 and finished it in February 1970, just before I got married. Thanks to all the students, co-workers and anyone else that chews gum from those early years. I don't chew gum, never did. I just came up with the idea of the dress and gathered wrappers.
Just had to have a picture for the day.

Time left to buy the RV/Truck 1 yr 8 mths 12 days

OK now as I understand it this dress is made from chewing gum wrappers? How in the world did you do that? I would like to see a close up of this one.
