What a day! We got up at
The trip down was uneventful and we made it to Jim’s mom in 3 ½ hours, we took our time and didn’t rush it. The clouds look funny when a storm is coming in.
Since I had no internet, I thought I'd just post two days in one and have you read down from Saturday. I sure hate not having an internet or a way of getting emails when we go down east. I know I'll have to get use to that once on the road.
The weather is so different when you have a tropical storm. We went to church this morning with the family and just knew we would get wet, but the storm was off shore and all we were getting was rain bands from time to time. Going into the church it was barely raining, coming out it was very sunny, then to brunch at a restaurant and it poured, coming out it was sunny. On the way home we were in & out of rain, but it was really sunny at the same time. It's really hard to explain. The rain comes down like snow, very fine mist, but enough to drown you. It's actually a lot of fun.
On the way home we went through two RV parks very close to Jim's mom's so now we have a couple places very close to stay when visiting with her. The rest of the trip was uneventful. We got my mom home and no more rain, beautiful skies and a very relaxing evening.
I'm finally back on chat, checking emails and back to civilization of the 21st century.
Days left to buy RV/Truck 1 yr 8 mths 1 day

Good to have you back. I have been to Morehead when I lived in NC. I hope to get back to that part of the USA in a couple of years. Charleston was another favorite of mine.
