I was up at 9:00 and over to get mom by 10:00. She was scheduled for a CT scan test at the hospital. She was so sick from the antibiotic pills we weren't sure she could drink the "32 oz water" they gave her. The water doesn't have any taste to it, it's the old barium that they use to do. It's now water with some sort of iodine in it. They put her in a wheelchair to get her back to the scan because wasn't able to walk. We got the whole deal done and she even drank all the water by 12:15. It didn't take long for the scan itself. Whew, that was something. I got her home ok, but she was sick feeling but at least doing better. I left her about 3:00 came home did some ironing and blog reading.
Now I'm waiting for the storms to go through. It was a different day, at least I didn't go to work.

I know that you are glad to have that done. I know it is not easy having to take care of a parent. Sherri and I took care of all our parents for years before they all passed away. Feels good that we were helpful to them when they were in need.
