Happy Birthday America

Happy 4th of July!!!

This is a special day for our freedom. People are trying to take it away from the true American, but to keep from getting too political I just want to say, Freedom is not FREE. Please support our troops! We were in the military 26 years and we KNOW what it means to be an AMERICAN.

I got up earlier then planned but I also slept sound all night so it was a great morning starting at 8:30. I took apart my ham radio backup system which ran on battery and made more room under the desk. The area needs a deep cleaning which I'm hoping to get done tomorrow.

I didn't do much today. I read blogs, went out for lunch, more like lunner (lunch dinner) and cleaned. I took pictures out of picture frames that are years old and scanned them to CD, then tossed the frames. Some are in trash and others are in my give away box. It's starting to look really neat in some areas. I also made more lists or what I want to get done the next two days. I keep forgetting this is Friday so have two more days to organize.

I'm also looking into a new "diet", actually it's just more ways of eating veggies and fruits. I need to lose weight and searched the web on meals using only veggies. I don't eat red meats, so that's not going to be a problem.

I'll keep this short, just a very lazy hot day, 95 temp today with high humidity.
