Frustration

Thank goodness I slept all night last night. When I got up Jim had an email to call him when I got up. He had trouble with the truck. It kicked out of 4-wheel steering (Quadra Steer) and went back to two wheel drive and the steering wheel turned sideways on him. It didn't change the handling but he knew something was wrong so he called the garage and we took it in before I went to work. He called later and said the main CPU had to be re-programmed and there was a leak in the right front axle. The fuel injection system was also cleaned. It wasn't maintained when we got it so the whole maintenance schedule for 30,000 miles had to be done. Luckily some of it was under warranty.

I was an hour late getting to work. When I arrived the lady boss said "we have a huge problem". So after an hour sitting with her everything I've done with the Friday work from 2006 was off in expenses and a client found it. It seems there was a cliche in hours vs expenses like surveys done that wasn't separated from labor, so I need to go back from 2006 when I started and redo it. That will keep me busy for a few days. Tomorrow is when I'm going to ask for all of August off. I sure hope it will be ok, but if not, I'll deal with it.

I thought I had some "stuff" sold last night but it didn't happen. Only sold some of the frames and a stand. I'll pack it all in a box and take it to a donation place.

After work I took mom out for our grocery shopping and bank run. She's getting weaker, I can sure tell the difference. She's still hanging in there and is very alert mentally, so that's a good thing. I picked Jim up at work. The rest of the evening was a quiet one in the chat room and working with online puzzles.
