Day 2 -Grandkids-Geocaching

Bird nest in the corner of the garage. She never moved while we were watching and taking pictures.

Fabulous night, we slept so good after being up for 20 hours. We got up at 8:15 to start the day with the grandkids. There's no way we're missing anything, and there was so much to do. It's hot here at 94 deg and lots of thick humidity, if you can call it thick, so just like home.

I forgot to mention in yesterdays blog that Jenny from RV-Dreams called while we were on the road. Thanks Jenny, that was really nice hearing from you. See you soon.

We had a blast with the kids. They're into star wars, hulk, batman and Bibleman. Bibleman is a kids way of learning about how to handle stresses in life. It's like a character action figure that talks about lazyness, anger, coveting and a bunch of other life decisions. It's great for young people.

All of us went shopping, it's not fun taking 2 cars around town. We lived here for 12 yrs but neither of us can find our way around, it's changed that much. We took the boys to a movie, the Kung Fu Panda, cute one for kids. We take them to a movie of their choice every year we're with them. The younger grandson had a birthday party from 12-3 so we took the older grandson (9) geocaching. We found 3 out of 4 caches and he loved it. He learned real quick how to handle the GPS. He found 2 out of the 3 all by himself and we showed him what type of stuff to look for. This is so fun to do, looks like it's going to be a new fun time with grandpa and grandma.

After eating out we came back home for some quiet time. I got into chat for a bit, read a ton of emails (happy birthday emails) then went to bed a little earlier than midnight.

Here's a couple pictures of the grandkids and grandparents. Kendall & Kyle playing Star Wars with grandpa.

Wonderful day spent with grandkids and son.

The truck (GMC) lost all the instrument panel lights go out. Sometimes they are there, then the next time they're all gone, no lights at all. That's dangerous on a long trip. We can't tell how much fuel we have or how fast we're going. We did get 19.5 MPG on the trip here. That's a lot better then we thought we'd get.

Days left to buy the RV/Truck 2 yrs 11 mths 7 days
