Reporting

It was COLD when I got up, 40 degrees, warmed up to 79. Wonderful sunny day. Tomorrow it's suppose to be even warmer. When I got to work I was informed we have a new CAD person coming tomorrow. All that work I did for getting job postings to all the colleges paid off. This one is coming from Arkansas.

My boss can be very funny, a real bear,or a purring kitty. Today it was a growling bear. He does thank you for anything you do so that's the good side of him. He's very intimidating but when you get to know him, you just ignore the growling, do what you can and go on. I hope the new person will understand that and not leave right away.

After work I got something to eat then went to the Dr. appointment. The news wasn't what I wanted to hear. I have nothing wrong with the gallbladder except a lot of fat under the liver which is putting pressure on the gallbladder. Dr wants to do a dye test for the gallbladder so that's next. I still have time before the rally to get things in order.

My next stop was to get some stuff for the trip in June. I've always wanted a first aid kit for the car and trips so got that along with the little Bandaid boxes ($1). That's off the list now. I also got some groceries, I no longer get anything that's not written down. I want to see how many things I forget and pretend I'm 20 miles from the nearest grocery store, like I would be in a campground. There's things I want do before we get on the road.

When I got home I did my walk around the lake. The Canadian geese and they're family were near the path. The dad was very alert to what I was doing while taking their picture.

I found out today at the Doctors that all my walking is paying off which makes me want to do more. My blood pressure has gone from 180/102 to 127/70, not bad for only walking. I don't FEEL any different, but the doctor wasn't on my case to get the pressure down.

It was dinner time by the time I got home, but sure did get a lot done this afternoon.

Days left to buy the RV/Truck 3 yrs 13 days

That is a very major drop in blood pressure! Good work! Too bad the gallbladder thing isn't going the way you want but maybe the walking is going to help there too.

I went off my blood pressure pills the year after we started fulltiming so it must be the walking and less stress that's doing it for me too!

Wow, Dee - Congratulations on the lower blood pressure! That is a great accomplishment!

Great idea on the grocery shopping, too. That should save on gas as well.
