Sitting in the Dentist Office Most of the Day

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 77 Lo 41 -- We had to get up early to get to the dentist office by 8:30. Jim was first for the start of some crown work and some other stuff, and I had a cleaning. Two men came in just before us and we figured they were late. Sure enough Jim was called in an hour later, then I was late for my cleaning. I wish if people came in late they'd bump them behind those who had the courtesy to arrive on time (like us). I hate waiting because someone else is late. The gal said that put them behind for the rest of the day.

By the time we got out it was lunch time, so we stopped at a small Mexican diner that our friends Jim and Judy had told us about when they were here. It was a Mexican grocery store with a small restaurant on one side. It must have been pretty authentic because most of the customers were Mexicans. The food was great and we'll be going back, someday. There's so many places to eat here, we're still trying out new places.

We got home and I decided to call a chiropractor to see if I could get in sometime this next week. I used to go a chiropractor regularly, and with my hip hurting while walking I knew it was out again. The place I called had an opening for today if I could get there quickly, so off I went. My left hip was out of place, which he took care of. I came home and walked a full mile with no pain in either the hip or the foot. The combination of the insoles I bought last light, the cortizone shot I got in my foot, and getting my hip back in place has increased my walking speed from 20 min. per mile to 18 with NO pain. I'm a happy camper!

Jim did the laundry, then we settled in for the night. It was a crazy busy day!
