Rainy Season - Memorial Day - Last Council

Shalimar, FL  (Hi 87   Lo 75)

It's been raining a lot this week, we need it, we're in an extreme drought. Instead of hurricane to help alleviate the drought, we are getting daily rain, I'll take that.

I'll start with Memorial Day, on Monday. We had our Village one potluck and 28 people attended. There was fantastic food (we have great cooks) and a lot of socializing. (Click on the photos to enlarge)

And pouring rain.
Tuesday, seemed like Sunday, we all felt like the week was messed up. I went to diamond art, a weekly staple. Inner wellness class was at 1:00.  I had a couple zoom meetings the rest of the afternoon and evening.

Wednesday six of us worked on the newsletters for the community. There's six buildings so we each had a stack of the newsletters to put together. This is the events for June. I'm doing most of it if not two things on the same day and hour, then there's a decision to make.
At 1:00 a bunch of us had crafters corner. Gals bring in all kinds of things they're working on. I'm trying to get my diamond art done.  At 2:30 we had residents council.  This is my last one. You can only be on for two years and my time is up. I can be off for a year and come back on if voted on to do so. I'll see what happens by then.

Thursday I got my monthly massage and chiropractor appointment, then straight to the crochet group in another building. I get out a bit at least once a week. When I took the car I noticed I've gone 99 miles since Feb 2, the last time I got gas.
Friday there was a Wii bowling party.  The end of the season we get all the bowlers together and have snacks. There's several people with 300 games, and 900 games. I've got a long way to go. I had 200 a couple times this year.  It's on the computer, so the ball goes where it wants to.

Saturday I cleaned up the apartment. It's time for a deep cleaning. I also went to Del's to work on the puzzle. Mine is almost done. I also am trying to find a charger which seems to have fled. I can't find it anywhere.  I also worked on Jim's PC and had to get a new mouse and keyboard. Now that's working.

I took some pictures of the walls in the commons area. It's so pretty.  My picture is on the right.

If I don't drown, I'll see you next week.
