Happy Easter! - Baseball Season!

(Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, FL) Hi 70 Lo 64 -- Happy Easter everyone!

This is an "unofficial" blog post, but I couldn't resist. Today is the first day of the 2015 Major League Baseball season. My St. Louis Cardinals take on the Chicago Cubs tonight to open the season. Tonight's game is the only one on the schedule, so tomorrow is the "official" opening day (which in my humble opinion should be a national holiday).

Go Cards!

One of my "bucket list" things is to attend a ballgame at as many major and minor league stadiums as I can during our travels. Including the ballparks I've visited before becoming a fulltimer, I've visited 21 of the 30 major league ballparks, and countless minor league parks. I hope to check off three or four more (in the midwest) this summer.

We'll have a more "normal" post in a couple of days.

Another I-70 World Series would be nice! A third of the guys at the office are gone today for the opener.

Sitting here watching the Royals and White Sox, agreed an I-70 World Series would be great. Good luck with your quest.
