Short Move to Scott AFB Famcamp

(Scott AFB, IL) Hi 75 Lo 45 -- Jim was up at 6:00 to take his sister to her Medical Assistants' Conference in St. Louis. He was back in an hour, rush hour traffic wasn't bad for a Monday morning. We went through our hitch-up process, said our goodbye to Jim’s family, and headed to the Scott AFB Famcamp, a short 25-mile trip south. They're leaving tomorrow to head back to North Carolina.

I don't want to forget to do a review of Red Barn Rendezvous, our home for the past two weeks. We love this park. There are not a lot of RV parks in the St. Louis area, so we split our time in this area between Red Barn and the Scott Famcamp.

When we got set up at the famcamp we relaxed and Jim took nap. He's been getting up early this week. We’re here for one more week with the grand boys, then we'll be on our way to Florida.

See you tomorrow.

You are having one big fantastic trip this year. I hope you do a recap after you get back and have time to sort everything out in your mind. It is after a big trip for me that I see and understand things I didn't realize at the time.

Glad you had the family time. A short travel day leaves plenty off relaxing time. We are traveling twice the distance to Crescent City, CA. Sadly,I will have to hitch up, travel, and set up in the rain. I will be happy when we get further south in CA.
