(Epsom, NH) Hi 81 Lo 49 -- It got down to the 40's last night! It sure feels strange sleeping covered with a blanket in August. Today's plans were to take a drive around Concord and go to Walmart for some groceries. Concord, the capital of New Hampshire, isn’t a very big city, but there are some beautiful buildings in the downtown area.
The Capitol building.
The view down one section of Main St. We like the red brick buildings.
Other buildings around town.
We really like this area. It’s very beautiful, but we wouldn't like the harsh winters.
We stopped at the local Walmart. It's one of the biggest Walmarts we’ve ever seen. If they didn’t have what you want, they don't make it. This evening we went to dinner at a country diner just down the road that was recommended by the lady in the campground office. It was good comfort food for a low price. They serve breakfast so we'll probably go there on Monday morning before we leave.
Later this evening Lucky Mike from the RV-Dreams chatroom stopped by our campground on his way home from a long day at work. It's always nice to meet one of the chatters and put a face to the name. His son, also named Mike, was with him. We ended up talking until almost midnight.
Mike travels in a Safari Trek motorhome.
Thanks Mike for stopping by to see us. Our paths cross with the greatest people in this full time lifestyle.

While you are in the area you ought to travel the Kancamagus Hwy. From Lincoln to Conway. It is a very scenic drive through the rugged NH country side.
Hey folks, if you make it as far north as Bar Harbor, drop us a line, we're working here until Columbus Day!We're always ready for more Dreamers :-).
