(Avon Park, FL) Hi 81 Lo 63 -- We were both awake before the sun came up. I seldom sleep all night when I know I have to get up early, and today wasn't any different. We had to be up by 7:30 for church. It was our turn to drive today so we picked up Kathleen and Jon went to a great service, then to The Clock Restaurant for brunch. We love their omelets.
It was foggy this morning so when the sun came out it got really humid and hot so we turned on the AC to keep it cooler in the RV. When we got home Kathleen, Judy and I went for our walk. When we got back from our walk, Judy and I went to the pool. I meant to get a picture but forgot the camera. I'll get one this week since it's going to be in the 80's all week. The pool is always 86 degrees, so it's really nice, but if it's a cool day you really feel it when you get out of the water. But it was very warm today so that was no problem.
We left the pool about the time a small rain shower came through. It didn't last long but it was enough to raise the humidity even more. It's supposed to rain through the night and then clear up tomorrow.
I worked on archiving our 2012 blogs. All through the year I put them in order in a Word document. At the end of the year I make sure everything is lined up then save it as a .pdf document and send it to our kids and my sister. It's fun to go back and see where we've been and who we've met. I'm so glad I take a lot of pictures while we travel, they bring back so many memories. I got that hitch itch feeling for just a little while today. But there's no way we want to be up north in that cold weather!
This evening we watched a DVD of the classic western movie "Once Upon a Time In the West." Our neighbors Jimmy and Judy loaned it to us.
It's going to be a very busy week, so stay tuned.
