Great Day with Friends New and Old

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 82 Lo 64 -- We got up early and had a shortened morning routine today. We had a lunch appointment with Arelene, Anna and Gale, and Lesssie and Ed at the Tick Tock Restaurant in St. Petersburg. This was the first time we met Lessie and Ed, who I've been chatting with in the RV-Dreams chatroom.

We had a wonderful lunch, and ended up staying over four hours at the restaurant. We talked about each others' lives on the road and helped Leslie with questions on going full time in the near future. It was sad to leave everyone, but it was getting late and we had to get on the road before the Tampa rush hour traffic got too bad, plus some storms were coming in.

There were storms in the area, and the setting sun cast some beautiful light on the clouds.

We grabbed a pizza on the way home and finished it in time to go over to play cards. It was a fun day and evening.
