A Day to Clean

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 78 Lo 49 -- Jim had his yearly physical exam today at the VA Hospital in Tampa. He left around 11:00, and while he was gone I did the yearly "spring" cleaning of the RV. I try to do a full cleaning every year when we get here to Florida, and also go through all the cabinets and sort, straighten, and pitch. I write a list of all the cabinets' contents, and anything we haven't touched in the past year (besides games) goes into a box for the thrift shop. We've learned from other people's experience that a full inventory of everything in the RV is a good idea in case of any kind of emergency. I didn't get finished before Jim got home, and by then I was tired so I quit for the day. I'll get it all done before we leave. We STILL have a few ants around, and I can't figure out just where they're hiding. They show up occasionally in different places. I'm still using Terra when I do see them.

Jim got a good report on his physical. Aside from his blood pressure and cholesterol being a little high, he's in good shape. The doctor said he doesn't expect to see him again until next December. That's sure good news. Our regular readers will remember we were going through his episode of atrial fibrillation last year at this time, and it seemed like we were driving to Tampa every week. No sign of that now, his heart is in good shape.

The evening was our normal TV, crocheting, playing computer games, and chat. It was a great day in Florida.
