I finally got some blogs read, it's been awhile and everyone has moved around or is getting ready to head south for the winter. We're seeing a lot more RV's headed our way. The park has been almost full since we got here on Thursday.
We went today to see Ken and Cindy at Pecan Park RV Resort. Ken's birthday is today, so we went to lunch at Olive Garden, which is his favorite place. And Jim got a free meal for Veterans Day. Ken got a small birthday cake after his meal. Happy birthday Ken!
After lunch we went to nearby Flamingo Lake RV Resort to check it out. Cindy is working in the Jacksonville area for about six months, so they may want a change of scenery during that time. It's not a bad looking park, but they both like Pecan Park better. We then went back to their RV and played a board game called Carcassonne for a couple hours till it was time to leave. We said our goodbye's to Cindy because she has to w**k this week, but we'll see Ken again before we leave on Thursday.
On the way home we picked up a couple of sandwiches at Subway and got back in time to see the end of the wild NASCAR race from Phoenix. Then Jim watched his Miami Dolphins game that he recorded.
