Food Delivery - Wait, Wait, Waiting

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 73 Lo 40 -- We both woke up at the same time this morning and noticed it was really cold. I asked Jim last night if we had enough propane to last the night, since the second tank was still hooked to the grill. He said we'd be just fine. Well, the other tank ran out so it was COLD. He turned on the little heater in the bedroom, and stayed up since it was 7:30. I was wide awake so I got up too.

I ordered some food items from Schwan's, and the truck was supposed to be here between 8 and 10 this morning. We waited and waited, and at 11:00 I called. He was just coming into town. He got here and said he'll usually be here by 11:30. We've ordered food from Schwan's for years, and I remember our family getting food from them when I was a little kid. They have all kinds of food on the truck, and it's great to have it delivered. More info can be found at schwans.com.

After all the food was put away, I strolled down to Rick and Elaine's. It was really chilly with the wind, but as the day progressed it got warmer. I did my walk, stopped at Jon and Kathleen's to find out if they were ok and when we'll get together. They've been really busy, but since we didn't go to the park meeting this morning they updated me on what's coming up this week. Jim has to move his truck from where it's parked. There's a car show coming in this weekend, and the entire area around the clubhouse will be filled with classic cars.

Jim grilled our dinner and we went down to Rick and Elaine's to play cards. We played Euchre again, and I'm finally starting to get the hang of the game. We got home around 9:30 and watched some TV while I got on chat.
