Fast Wi-Fi -- Girls Day Out

(Avon Park, FL)  Hi 70 Lo 53 -- We forgot to mention last night that we now have a fast DSL internet connection. We ordered it a couple days ago and it was installed yesterday afternoon. Our download speed is 7-9 mb/s, which is much better than the .5 mb/s we've been getting on Verizon 3G. It's great to have blazing (to us) speed to watch videos, and we'll use the Skype a bit more.

For our RV'ing friends, Jim found a really neat website where you can make a map of your travels. It's very user friendly and a nice size.

Jim went to Tampa today for his Warfarin blood test, so I took off with Debbie and Elaine for a girls day out shopping. We went to Beall's in Avon Park, then to the Lakeshore Mall in Sebring. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

We roamed around several shops buying what we needed, and what we wanted with the thought in mind that if we take something home then we have to get rid of something in the rig to make room. It's what RV'er do (especially full timers). When we got home we all waited for Jim to get home, then we all went out to eat at a restaurant that Jim saw on his way home from Tampa. It's called Orange Box Cafe, and it's only about eight miles up the highway from us. Tonight was seafood buffet night. It wasn't the greatest food in the world, and I doubt it will be in our dining out rotation. But the shrimp was pretty good, and we had a lot of fun.

We spent the evening chilling out and getting caught up on our recorded TV shows. It was a late night last night and we're both tired. We have such a tough life!
