(Avon Park, FL) Hi 74 Lo 47 -- We were thankful for our ceramic heater last night, it did a real good job keeping us warm in the bedroom. When Jim got up he turned the fireplace on so it was warm in the living room by the time I got up.
Jim went to the local library to catch up on some of the magazines he likes to read but no longer subscribes to. He gave up almost all of his subscriptions. By the time a magazine shows up in our mail service box, and then is forwarded to us wherever we are, it's usually outdated. And it's also more expensive than a normal subscription when you add the forwarding postage we have to pay. I went through some paperwork and did my walk around the park. People were pulling in one by one today. It's going to be a full park for sure. The empty park models are becoming occupied. I'm anxious for the activities to get back to normal at the clubhouse. Things quieted down the last couple of weeks for the holidays.
Tomorrow we're going to Tampa for a medical appointment, and then for dinner at a Japanese restaurant, courtesy of a half-off deal we got on Groupon. So we'll be a little later getting the blog done tomorrow.

Brrrrr your 47 low sounds SO cold... till you think of our 23 right now here? The river is starting to freeze over with chunks and nothing moving now, so I think Winter is here. Enjoy your 70-80 degree days!

So true about magazines costing so much more when they have to be forwarded by your mail service. It is probably almost as cost effective to buy them on the stands locally, the I like the idea of a visit to the library.
