(Avon Park, FL) Hi 68 Lo 49 -- Our northern friends sent down a cold wave and it got cold overnight. I forgot to get out the big blanket and neither of us wanted to get up and get it. We just snuggled to stay warm; even Jim stayed in bed a lot later this morning. We'll have another day that's cold then it will warm back up again. Luckily, it doesn't stay cold for long in this area.
We didn't do much all morning. I played a lot of games, then took advantage of the cooler weather and tackled the closet I've been wanting to clean out for quite some time. We both got rid of some clothes we haven't worn in a long time. I'll take them to the thrift shop. I did find a couple more of the stink bugs we picked up in Pennsylvania last year. They were dead, but I bet we'll find a few along the way in out of the way places. I also got the pictures all backed up and I'm now ready for 2012 on the PC.
I keep missing my mom on chat. I'm usually by the computer most of the day, but when she comes on I'm out doing something. Yesterday we went to the movies and today I went walking. Hopefully I'll catch her again sometime this week. She's learning how to use the Kindle Fire she got for Christmas, so I'm happy to see her back online.
It was too chilly to sit outside so we walked then came back in. We're getting more RV's in the park. Only a few spots are left, so there's still more to come in the next few days.
The next huge project is a big one. We want to get a full inventory of what we have in the RV. We'll take pictures of each cupboard, drawer, and closet, then list everything that's in them. Good for insurance purposes.

hahaha - if we sent down a cold wave, you'd really be looking for that big blanket LOL - our HIGHS have been in the 30s and we've been happy to have that. We're halfway through what might be our last full winter up here though, and then we hope to be posting the same nice warm weather updates!! :)
We are STILL finding stink bugs from October in Elkhart, IN! Temps here in Naples went from the 80's to the 60's during the day and forties at night.. Brrrrrrr! But that won't last for long...
Absolutely, when we had the house in Ottawa we did this and sent the photos to the insurance agent in case of fire.
By the way, I'd like to send a lot more cold weather your way. We'll be -27C with wind chill tomorrow!
