Checking out RV Parks Near Us - First Potluck

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 77 Lo 57 -- We have one day to get our two year recap done so I worked on that most of the morning. I want to do a collage of photos of all the parks we've stayed. It's taking a lot longer then I thought it would, but it's a fun project. When I get it done I'll post on the blog. The time flew by today. I also got to do a voice chat with another friend Sandra in Canada. What a surprise. Thanks Sandra, it was great to hear from you. My mom got on chat today which was really nice to hear from her. Our son also did a quick chat. I love this technology.

After lunch we took a drive to the country outside Avon Park to a couple of RV parks that we're checking out for a friend in Canada. They're coming down in January and wanted us to take some pictures of the parks and send them to them. We found the two they asked about, plus another one that we came across, all on Bonnet Lake. The parks were nice, but a little too far out in the country for us.

We got a few items at Walmart on the way home, then got ready for our first potluck here at Adelaide Shores. There weren't a lot of people, but it sure was nice. We've been invited to go out with a group to dinner tomorrow night. We're slowly getting to know more folks, and we'll be getting out more and doing things in the coming weeks.
