(NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh, NC) Hi 77 Lo 53 -- The fairgrounds RV park is almost empty. It took awhile for the fair rides to be disassembled, but they're all gone this morning.
Jim got up early again this morning to get mom to an 8:00 dentist appointment in North Raleigh. This is the last appointment with that dentist. From now on she'll go to a dentist in Fuquay-Varina where she lives. They went out to breakfast afterwards, then Jim took her back to her place.
I took the truck and went to visit my former bosses. They have been keeping up to date on the blog, so I wanted to hear what they've been doing. Back when I worked for them I sometimes took their youngest son to grade school, and now he's a Sophomore in high school. Time flies when you see how fast their kids have grown up.
Jim met me back home, and after we had some lunch he took my car to Raleigh for an oil change. He went to the same place he took the truck yesterday. It's all done and we're ready to leave on Monday.
I'm very pleased with the care mom is getting. The air conditioner in her room has leaked since she's been there and the carpet is real wet. They changed it out twice and did work on it, but it's still leaking, so today several workers took everything in her room and moved her to another room. She called me to tell me what was going on and a few minutes later the manager called to explain the situation. That's very good service, and will give us great peace of mind when we go to Florida. I know they won't leave me in the dark about what's going on. I really like Carillon Assisted Care.
We went to dinner with Paul and Jill tonight. There's a restaurant next to the RBC Center (home of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team) called Backyard Bristro. The food was very good and the company was even better. Thanks for going with us tonight Paul and Jill.

What peace of mind you must have knowing your sweet momma is receiving good care and that they will always be mindful of letting you know of anything new.
Blessings, K
