Space Docking With ISS (International Space Station)

(Wauchula, FL) Hi 89 Lo 59 -- The lazier I get, the lazier I want to be, that's todays highlights, being lazy.

I did get some computer stuff done, but when I tried to print some new business cards, our ink cartridge ran out.  Looks like we'll have to make a trip to Wal-Mart for a new cartridge... and a back-up.

Jim dumped the tanks. Now that the weather is warmer, we get a slight smell from our sinks to warn us that our tanks are getting full. He's been dumping once a week since we've been here. Jim reads a few RV owners' forums and there seem to be a lot of tank "issues" out there, but he's pretty good about back-flushing our tanks at least once a month and so far we haven't had any problems whatsoever. And our gauges are always pretty accurate after a good flushing, too. Not that we really need them. You tend to learn your tanks pretty well and know how long to go before dumping.

I didn't move much from the chair today. The space shuttle Discovery was docking with the International space station and I watched it all morning and part of the afternoon. We get the NASA channel on our DISH satellite and they give great coverage during shuttle missions. I have a soft spot for the shuttle program since I worked for NASA when we were stationed at Patrick AFB near the Cape in the 1970's.

After they opened the hatch and the crew from the shuttle went into the ISS, it was time for the NASCAR Nationwide race. Good timing.

Tomorrow is the Sprint Cup race and the Academy Awards. Monday we're driving about 1-1/2 hours to Davenport to visit an RV couple we met last month.

I'll leave you with this:

Oh my, what a difference a couple of words can make. Carolyn and I are "a couple of RV'ers", not an RV couple, ha ha. Just friends. However, Roger and I are an "RV couple".

I can relate to being lazier each day. In fact, I might be too lazy to clean the motorhome before you arrive tomorrow. But, that's OK, we'll just sit outside and be lazy.

See ya' tomorrow. Enjoy the race today!

Dee,
Man I can relate to forgetting where I'm going. That applies when driving or just going into a room.
