Movie Day - Dirigible - Seniors Code

(Wauchula, Fla -- Hi 75 Lo 46) - It was a great morning.  I love the blog I read this morning from Nick (Gypsy Journal).   They live like I do, go to bed late and get up late. We are going to try to catch him at home tomorrow since he's just down the road, but like us,  it will be around noon before we get there since we're late morning people too.

We went to Sebring today to see the movie Tron Legacy.  I thought it was great.  I have to put right up there with Matrix, which is my all time favorite. It's got great music along with great special effects, and lots of action.  I rate it tops.

We needed to buy a couple of inexpensive gifts for our Christmas party at the clubhouse on Friday, so on the way to the movie we stopped pick up something. They had some cute little Beanie Babies that I just couldn't pass up so Jim bought me one as an early stocking stuffer. Meet Pandy.

On the way home we saw this dirigible above us.  It has no markings so we have no idea who's it was or what company it may belong to.

There's a small airport in Avon Park and we noticed as we were driving by that it was coming in for a landing. So we pulled off the road along with several other cars to watch it.
When it got real close to the ground several people ran and grabbed a long rope hanging from the nose and guided it down.

I shot a quick video on my camera of it landing.  That was quite a surprise and something neat to watch. It doesn't take much to excite us. :)

I received a neat email from Donna today, which I just have to share.

TEXTING FOR SENIORS-Since more and more Seniors are texting and tweeting there appears to be a need for a STC

ATD: At The Doctor's
BFF: Best Friend Farted
BTW: Bring The Wheelchair
BYOT: Bring Your Own Teeth
CBM: Covered By Medicare
CGU: Can't get up
CUATSC: See You At The Senior Center
DWI: Driving While Incontinent
FWBB: Friend With Beta Blockers
FWIW: Forgot Where I Was

GHA: Got Heartburn Again
IMHO: Is My Hearing-Aid On?
LWO: Lawrence Welk's On
OMMR: On My Massage Recliner
WAITT: Who Am I Talking To?

We got home just before dark and settled in for the evening.  It's warmer and more like Florida is supposed to be.  We really do like it here in our little piece of paradise.
