Generator Test - Went to the Movies

(Fair Oaks, IN) - Jim "exercised" our onboard generator today.  About once a month it needs to be run under load for an hour or so to keep it working properly.  He forgot to turn off the air conditioner before doing the changeover and it tripped one of the breakers.  Not being familiar with where the generator's breakers are, he contacted fellow Cameo owner Bob, who gave him some good info.  (Check out his blog at How to Love Where You Are and Eat Where the Locals Eat.)  After re-setting the breaker and re-starting the generator, everything works fine.  We're able to run both air conditioners on generator power.  We're always learning something new in this lifestyle.

It’s getting warmer again with higher humidity. At least we had a two day break.  We decided to go see the movie “Salt."  It's a pretty good spy thriller with a lot of plot twists and turns.  (And Angelina Jolie isn't bad, either! - Jim)  A good summer movie.  We stopped for groceries on the way home.

I did a short walk around the area and found this locust shell.  They’re so noisy this time of year.

I also got some chatter from this squirrel.  I guess he didn’t like me around his nest.

We have another full day planned tomorrow, or we may wait until Thursday.  It depends on how we feel when tomorrow gets here.  Isn't this a great life?
