Time Change Again -- Moved to Florida

Another time change, but as retirees, who cares. If you don't look at your watch you won't care what time it is, all you need to do is eat or sleep when you want to. I hate the time change and was very glad today we didn't have certain times to be anywhere.

We got hitched and on our way, time was 10:15, just in case someone wants to know. We had a good trip with several road changes, not just staying on I95 but nothing off a highway. It was VERY windy and I was surprised Jim wasn't having trouble with the rig, but he said the duallys were keeping him stable. I guess I need to put some duallys on my little RAV4 I was all over the place trying to hold it to the lane.

We stopped only once and that was at the Florida welcome center to get a new map. Ours was from the early 80's and I had thrown it away. Traffic was decent for a Sunday. We saw a lot of RV's going north, so the snow birds are hitching up.

We found the park, which is what I was thinking parks would be most of the time. I envisioned from the RV-Dreams chatters and what people talk about and this park is one of them. The last two parks were awesome, but this one is way above average (to me).

Ocala Sun RV Park Resort has a pool (set at 85 degrees) and a whirlpool.

The clubhouse is across the street from us. You can do puzzles, wifi is located there, big screen TV, and pool table. There are several rooms with showers, sink, toilet. Very nice. The laundry is behind the building with six washers and six dryers.

This is our setup. It's really nice having both vehicles together. Some MH's have boats attached with another car driven by the spouse.

So far all is well. We do have a leak we're investigating, but we'll keep an eye on it since it's not leaking all the time. There's a fix it guy that comes to the park so we may have to call him to see if we can make it for another month before going back to the dealer.

This move wasn't as secure. I didn't do anything different but one of the cupboard doors opened and dumped some stuff on the floor. A box that was sitting on the chair dumped all the contents in the chair and the box was on the floor. Nothing broken and all the shot glasses are still on the slide top.

This will be our home state. We have a lot to do while we're here along with the RV class this week. We'll be here till the 24th. Thanks for following along.

Do you mean that you will be at that park for most of the month, or just in Florida in general?

Wheres the leak?

We'll be at THIS park till 3/24 then moving to Jacksonville, FL. We think the leak is from the black tank cleaning sprayer.

Congratulations on the next leg of your journey. Glad you've made it safely to FL. Looks like a really nice park.

It rained the whole time we were there, hope the weather is better for you. Our truck should be heading this way Monday or Tuesday.

Stay Safe

Congrats on making it to Florida! I read on someone else's blog today about having a leak and it was the very same thing, something faulty about the tank sprayer. I will go find the blog and send it to your email address....

Before moving I go through the rig from one end to the other, and give a push on every single door and drawer, including the fridge. Yours is a more upscale and newer model than mine, so your cabinets should be well constructed and not come open if you make sure they are secure.

If your leak is from the outside black tank flush, where you attach the hose that is supposed to spray the inside and keep the sensors clean - mine has never worked right. If I turn on the water and spray, it never comes back out. Scary! Where in the heck is it?
