Rain All Day Long, RV's In and Out

I woke up to heavy rain pounding on the roof. At least it wasn't snow like some are getting in the Midwest, and even in Texas. It rained all day.

We had planned on going Geocaching today, so we had to do some changes on what to do for the day. I decided to make address labels, then caught up on some blogs. I changed the pictures on the video frame which was way out of date. Now I'm adding the parks and neat pictures when we go someplace. My pictures on the computer needs some work for organizing, so added tags and got them in folders. I'm making RV park folders and adding side trips for each park.

The rest of the day was watching the NASCAR race. We also watched a LOT of the RV's coming and going in and out of the park. There was one really big Toy Hauler that parked about two over from us. It's a beauty. People were out working with their sewer lines and packing up in heavy rain. I know our time is coming, but sure don't want to be that rushed that we'd have to leave in the rain.

After the rain quit, people were walking dogs and themselves around the park. We really like seeing all the activity around us. It's becoming empty behind us so the snowbirds are on the way home.

Both of us thought the same thing at the same time today while watching the race. We use to get about half way into the race and think about getting dinner and getting setup for "work" the next day. It feels good to no longer have to do that. We have a very full day tomorrow, but it's not doing an 8-5 job.

Appears Jim is taking it easy. I notice you have sun shine! I wish we could get some of that.

Picture was from yesterday, it was just rain today, but that's so depressing.

I am so glad you two are assimilating into your new life style so easily. Your time with the driving school sounded great. When I first learned to drive the semi, there was more time spent on a backing course than on going straight, except for learning how to shift.
