Laid Back Day with Guests from RV-Dreams
Ahhhhh, this is the life.
We went to the clubhouse for donuts and coffee and met up with people at 9am. There were a few there and one couple from last nights potluck so we talked for awhile.
Jim had an appointment to get his truck serviced (oil change) so he left the clubhouse before I did. I cleaned the rig to get the sand out and searched for some shorts. It was going to be high 70's today and by noon you could feel the heat.
We finally got the awning out, our chairs and the new mat to sit outside for awhile. the sun was great and the wind was really cool but it was so nice to sit outside for some fresh air.
We made arrangements for Donna & Jim to come by for a visit. Donna is Birdie in the RV-Dreams chatroom and we've been chatting for a couple years. They're in Leesburg, Fla area which was close enough for them to visit us and our RV. It was great for them to come over. We visited all afternoon getting up to date on what's going on in Florida. Thanks Donna & Jim for coming our way.
I thought I'd let some of the readers know how relaxed you become after getting on the road. We've both lost a quite a bit of weight and we have lower expectations then we use to have. Work is not in our vocabulary and we're doing very well being together in our little box.
The temperatures are climbing to where we can now check out our summer appliances, like the kitchen overhead fan. When we turned it on it made a really loud noise, Jim noticed a screw missing on the fan blade. He took that off so now it runs quietly. He'll get a screw for it Monday while we're out.
We sat outside in the evening sunset and did our walk around the park. Life is good.

Loosing weight! Now thats a great side effect of getting on the road and making your dreams come true.
I hope I meet up with both of you someday!
I think Geo-caching is a great way to find interesting things in areas where you've never been. We find places we would have never found if not for geo-caching. Hope the weather clears up and you get a chance to go.
