Day with Mom - Looking up Parks

I forgot to put a picture of our friends yesterday. Thank you to Clara & Jim for spending the afternoon and evening with us. We'll be back soon and we'll go camping.



We got up early to get mom in Cary. We have a favorite breakfast place and the waiting can be very long if we get there after church lets out. It was good timing, it was only a 15 minute wait. We took her back to our place for the afternoon just to show her the area where we're parked. She's doing very well and even though we're leaving this week she's prepared and seems to have everything in place.

This is what we do most of the time. Jim & I have our separate laptops and usually busy with something. Today Jim found some more RV parks on the way to Florida. We thought we'd stay at a military base, but with Passport America we found a couple that's just off the highway without going too far out of the way, for the same price. If they don't have room when we're ready we'll still keep the military base in mind.

There was a question on the comment in blog about our small car and if we're taking it. Yes, we are. I'll follow Jim behind or ahead at least we're starting out that way. If it doesn't work or we don't like it, we'll sell the car, but it's paid for and it's a great car with very few miles on it. It's easier to keep it then to buy one if we need it.

We watched the NASCAR race then the Olympics. This coming up week should be full of action. We're ready to get things setup, put away, hitch up and move out or we will be as soon as we hear from the dealer.
