More Preparations - Full Cleaning

I worked from 9 to 1 today, so got up early. Nothing new at work. I did talk with Mrs boss about what she needs to learn and what she'll be doing after I leave. She's worried about getting everything done, but she did it before I was hired and there were a lot more people then there is now, so we both figured she'll do just fine. She wants to take some time to file but that's only 1/2 hour once a week most of the time. I think I put her at ease.

I picked mom up to do some errands then got my hair cut. I wasn't going to do the short cut for winter, but it's so easy and I can always wear a hat to keep my head warm. I mopped the floors and cleaned up around the apartment. It took a total of 1/2 hour instead of the hour doing the same thing in the condo. I like this place. The one thing I notice more in the apartment is bugs and lizards. We were on the second floor in the condo and here we're on ground level so we get a lot more little critters. Just something else to get use to before moving into the RV. I even took a 20 min walk in the nice warm sun. Our temperature was high 75 today and it's awesome! I need the vitamin D and the walk so got both done at the same time.

We're preparing slowly. Jim had the tonneau put on today. It looks great! We sold the toolbox that we had just in case the 5th wheel wouldn't clear it, but when we saw our friends topper Jim wanted one like it.

I called the fairgrounds to see how we can reserve a place to stay while we pack and show it off easily. The fairgrounds is about 9 miles away so we wouldn't have far to go to take some stuff to put in it. I found out it's $25 a night and the limit is two weeks. That's getting a bit on the expensive side, so we may make other plans. A little at a time we're getting 'er done.

I decided to try my hand at making apple crepes. I thought it would be a quick baking process, an hour later I had it in the oven. I hope they turn out good, they sure smell good.
