WE SOLD - 142 Days- CLOSING SEPTEMBER 16, 2009

I had to get up early to get the car to the garage to check the cruise control. I was only there 15 minutes to find out it's the controller. It's very expensive so I'm waiting to get it fixed when we get ready to hit the road. I bought some plastic boxes for storing stuff in the RV and went home to pack a few items.

We got the feedback from yesterday: "buyer wanted something right on the pond". I've never heard the lake called pond, but technically I guess it is. We chose NOT to live on the pond because of the noisy ducks. At least we know that one isn't interested.
*******************************************************
I got to work early and played on Facebook then filed reports. Both bosses are in a conference so it was very quiet in the office with the four of us. About noon I heard from the Realtor saying the lady came up a bit but not to what we need to get the RV. I gave up at that time figuring it was over. About an hour later, she decided on our price. Jim called me, not the Realtor. I was in shock. I didn't know if I wanted to scream, cry, hold my breath or what, I did everything but scream. I was at work and decided that wasn't a good thing. After coming to grips I put the word out on Facebook and called both sons, my sister and then was spaced out the rest of the day.

This is the lady that was shown the condo twice. Her Realtor was a relative and had to leave Sunday and was back today. They came to an agreement on our price that was bottom line. I still can't believe it. We close on September 16.

Thank you to all that was on Facebook and left a message. Thank you Jenny for calling. It's all so sweet of everyone. We're going tomorrow to check on an apartment that just opened up on the first floor. It's across the street, so we'll see what it looks like tomorrow and get the papers going for it. There's no words for the excitement. We'll take one step at a time in the next couple days to figure out what needs done first and get the price and order the 5th wheel. Our dream is almost accomplished. One step closer and lots of tears of joy.

Good luck to all those that are selling. It will come when it's time.

Time left to get on the Road 25 weeks 4 days
(Just a reminder, this date is so we can get to Rockport, TX to meet up with RV-Dreams gathering by March 1)

They had to hear you say no, so they knew what the lowest price they could get the condo for was. When you countered and stood your ground, then they had to decide if they really wanted it, and they did!
Congratulations! You are on your way, nothing can stop you now!
