Now There's TWO Buyers

Last night was exciting. We were watching TV and we got a call from the Realtor service wanting to show our condo. We didn't have to go anywhere so just sat back and let them go through. They were very impressed and really liked it. We told them we're going to go in a 5th wheel and that's what they're doing. They want to go part time and gave us an RV park name that we didn't know about. This park is $350 a month with full hookups. It's only a few miles away, so we're going to check it out on Saturday. It's Dickens RV park

I can't believe how things work out. I also sold a beaded kitty. It was on the wall and I was wondering what I was going to do with it. The lady bought it. They're hoping the other deal falls through they seem to really want the place. About half hour later we had a feedback that they want the condo if the first buyer doesn't get it. So now we have TWO buyers.

I worked from 9-1 today. Mr Boss was in a really foul mood because today was our big day for a bid meeting that the engineer was suppose to attend. He didn't come in today. He's the one that was fighting with the boss on Tuesday. Mrs Boss is with the college kids going to orientation so she's not going to be in for the next two days. I was very glad to see Mr Boss go to the meeting and gone by mid morning. I left at 1 and got home just before a huge storm came up.

I worked on getting little stuff packed. There's little knick knacks that I really want with us, and doesn't weigh much. I also worked with a desk computer for mom. She has the laptop but the desk top may be better with the bigger monitor and little keyboard. I'll get that setup on Saturday for her.

If you've been following the blog for very long you know I'm in favor of lists. I have tons of lists and they're all labeled for different things. I printed out the list for Lowes store and will be going this week to see what I can get. It's the list that the chatters have mentioned that would be a have to have like steel wool, trays, bungy cords, shelving rubbery stuff etc. I'll start off with the little stuff then get the bigger stuff when we actually get the 5er.

All day I emailed back and forth to the dealer to get a 2010 price list for the Cameo. They keep wanting us to buy something that's on the lot. We're not going to do that. The salesman I wrote to yesterday was out today, so maybe I'll get the list tomorrow from him. I just called today to have someone send it, but I never got one. Why is everything so difficult. It is fun though trying to get something we really want. Jim will take over if I don't get any action. I'll just start emailing other dealers see who sends me one.

Time left to get on the Road 24 weeks 3 days
(Just a reminder, this date is so we can get to Rockport, TX to meet up with RV-Dreams gathering by March 1)

It never rains but it pours lol. Any idea how much they want to bid for your condo?

The RV park doesn't look like it has the "it" factor but it's wide open and looks serviceable. It would be great for internet satellite.

Good luck with the price lists.

Alright for you! Looks like things are really moving along for you, we're really happy for you two. We hope you go ahead and get your rv and skip the apartment. Start living the dream, even if you have to stay parked for awhile. Good luck!

Hugs!
