Just as Cory came in we got a call from our Realtor that we had our first offer. We got the email and checked through it but the offer is really low so we gave her our counter offer. It's the lady that's been here twice before that we thought bought our next door neighbors place. It's not the same woman which means another lady will be our neighbor that's single. We have several ladies in the building so we're hoping she takes the counter offer and we'll close on the date they've set September 8. The problem, the agent is out of town till Wednesday and our Realtor can't do anything about it. We'll have to wait to see what happens. In the meantime I decided to get the desk ready for selling on Craigslist. We're now without a desktop computer so I can sell the desk, chair and lamp.
Now what am I going to do with all the stuff in the desk. I can't believe how much is in it. I'm hoping a college student will want it. It's perfect, but it sure won't fit in an RV.
It's been a great day. I'm keeping calm (ha ha) and things are moving along with the ceilings, at least one of them.
Time left to get on the Road 26 weeks 1 days
(Just a reminder, this date is so we can get to Rockport, TX to meet up with RV-Dreams gathering by March 1)

At last, it must feel great to finally get something to consider. Hope this works out.
Maybe this will be it
Hope the counter offer is acceptable. Sending up a little prayer that your place has been sold.
You said the ceiling was dry and not passable. Did you mean to say it is NOW passable.. after all that work it would be very disappointing if it NOT passable.
Sending positive thoughts your way . . . hope the counter offer is accepted!
Good luck with the counter-offer, we're sending lots of positive vibes for you!! See you down the road...
