I got up at 9:30, I didn't want the day to get away from me. We couldn't decide what to do today, there was so much to choose from. The
Blue Angels were at Seymour Johnson Air Force base, the
guy with the donkey going across the USA is in Spencer, NC, and the big craft crazy daze is in Bond Park just a mile up the road. We had also tossed around the idea of checking out an RV dealer this weekend. Another idea was going geocaching, since there's 15 within a mile of us. Our choices were a lot and we wanted to do all of them. We put out the Angels because being in the Air Force for 26 years we've seen them and it was too hot to be on an airfield. We passed up the mule and Bernie because it's an hour or more out and we're too cheap to use the gas, same goes for the RV dealer since we're not ready to buy at the moment. So we chose the craft fair. That meant I needed new shoes to do that much walking. It's one mile there and it's at least a mile walking in the park. We've never been there but there was a lady that does weave beading and I wanted to see her. We left about 11 to find shoes at the mall. There's several shoe stores and not one of them had the brand and size I really wanted. We stopped in one that had shoes close to the brand, but the salesman was so enthused about his shoes and how long they lasted that I decided to try them on and they were perfect. So much for sticking to my brand. Now off to the park. While we were almost to the condo I got a call from the Realtor wanting to show our condo at 1:45. Talk about great timing, we stopped at the condo as we were sitting in front of the road at a stop light so we turned in, gathered up a few things and took off. Now we wait for the verdict.
Here's a few pictures of our fun at the park. It was packed with people but with the layout and the tents all lined up it wasn't bad, hot but nice.

A painting of your whole life. All the places important places in your life.

Popcorn in a Kettle was great! Pops on one side and dumps to the other then they bag it.

Just a few of the tents in the area.

Once we got back home we just relaxed, cooled down and watched the Nationwide race from Talledega, AL. Tomorrow will be race day and hoping to hear from the Realtor. What a great day.
Days till we leave for the wedding 31
