It's Friday, just in case those that are retired didn't know that. Someday, we'll throw out the calendar and watches and just live the life of leasure. In the meantime, we have to work and when I got up this morning I was thinking how we're creatures of habit. We get up, no matter what time that may be, and do our regular routines, like grab that first cup of coffee. There's clothes to wash, cleaning to do, groceries to get and we have a routine on how we do it and sometimes WHEN we do it. There's specific days for laundry for instance. As I was going to work this morning, we even have a routine on the how we get to work. I'm not sure why we're such creatures of habit. It took some thinking on my part when our office moved not to turn left but keep going straight at a certain road. It didn't take long, but still it was a change.
Work went really bad all day. My ROUTINE wasn't the usual Friday's, it was all out of order and both Bosses were gone it made it harder to get my weeklies done. The phone wasn't quiet like a normal Friday. My lunch was later then normal. The whole office seemed off key today. Everyone was too quiet, which on Friday there's usually more talking or activity in the office. It was also quite warmer than it has been and the office was a little uncomfortable, maybe that's why it was so quiet.
We've been talking about the trip to Elkhart coming up. We'd like to see some RV factories but not sure which one yet. We emailed Carriage and they're no longer doing tours because of less staffing. We're going to contact Heartland, maybe Jayco to see how they're made. We haven't got the whole trip set in stone, and doubt if we will, but it's going to be a fast trip and very packed with things we want to get done. When we're in St. Louis we're going to check out the air force base famcamp, and maybe the casino parking for RV's. There's so much to check into for when we get on the road. The time is coming.

Believe me I know what you mean!! Sherri and I thought we would be ready to leave by now but we have so much to get done and I don't see how we will get it all done before my last day rolls around. Geee I thought we were so organized??

Hi Dee,
We found that not too many of the RV manufacturers would set up tour appointments ahead of time. It seemed to be better just to show up at their door and ask to talk to somebody. Jayco does have scheduled daily tours (every day at noon, I think).
Good luck and have fun!
Marci
