What a beautiful morning! I got up at 7:40 leaving Jim in bed. He has the two days off. If it was a day without working, it would have been great sitting on the deck this morning with a cup of coffee watching the birds and the water from the deck.I got to work and helped with a few client books getting them ready to ship out. Both Bosses were there but all was quiet, just a normal day. I left at 1:00, picked up mom for a quick errand then went home.
I took a walk around the lake a couple laps (1.23 mile) and measured all the stuff that has to go into the U-Haul next month. We sure hope we can get by with the 4x8 trailer. We have a lot to load up. Jim made dinner tonight which was special. He makes a killer tuna casserole and it's awesome.
We had to leave by 6:00 for the hockey game tonight. It's been a long time since we've gone to a game so looking forward to it. Our team is in the playoffs for sure and the crowds are better lately. Jim won tickets from work, so all we pay is parking.
As for the basketball pool, our boss is trying to avoid the topic. I think he's going to back out since we're so short of money coming in to the company. I'll let you know if I win it, but there's only two of us that picked UNC, so I know I'm either first or second.
