Lightning - Christmas Concert

Another dreary, stormy day. It rained really hard off and on all day, luckily when I had to be in it the rain wasn't bad. Lightning struck somewhere while I was watching out the window, then found out later it struck a house a few miles from us and started a fire. I think they lost the house. It thundered quite awhile. I know by experience when you have storms in the winter it won't be more then three weeks you'll have snow. I have a feeling with it going from 72 today to 20's tomorrow night, there will be snow very soon.

Work was ok. Mrs Boss left about 10:00 for her first day of vacation. It was fairly quiet. Mr Boss was gone most of the day so I was able to put all the names & addresses in his computer. Now that project is done. I went through all our software and sorted that, some we still use and others are very old. We had floppies from 1996 and 1998 for some of the software. I'll start packing stuff up for our move starting tomorrow. A lot of it will go to the storage unit. I also took out all the magazines from 2007 and threw them out. I had to use another waste basket out of sight to accomplish that task. Mr Boss just doesn't want anything thrown out.

I forgot all about a Christmas concert with a friend of ours playing the bass. It was 45 min away and with all the rain we wanted an early start. I talked my boss in letting me go 15 minutes early so we would be able to eat and get there on time. It was great seeing him play. We've been going to his concerts for three years. It's held in a community center and there were a lot of people.

Top picture is the whole group and Jerry is on the bass in next picture.

I didn't get on chat. We went out for ice cream after the concert and it was way too late to get on chat as tired as I am from working 8 hr days this week. I'll see you tomorrow night.

Days left to sell the condo and order the RV 5 mths 20 days

Glad you posted your blog. We were worried about you but Steve said you had gone to a concert. Glad everything's ok. At least the rain storm should help with your drought!

Yes, believe me I understand. I work 10 hours a day and I am so tired by the time that I get home I can barely get me something to eat and set down before I pass out. I miss chatting but when you've worked all day it is a chore getting on line LOL. I do read everyones journal however and keep in touch with them that way. Sherri is back home and she is reading journals today. She lets me comment....you know I always have somethign to say LOL.
