A Very Slow Friday

I had to get up at 6:45 while Jim stayed in bed, that doesn't happen very often. It was dark, dreary and foggy but no rain. In fact, it was back to 65 degrees and I saw the sun about 15 minutes close to 3:30.

Mrs. Boss never did come in till about the time to go home. She's staying with her mother-in-law all day. Mr Boss came to me to thank me for a great week while she was gone and the help in keeping things moving along. He also handed out bonuses today to everyone, so guess we got some checks from clients.

I was busy today with proposals, the weeklies, and correcting some spec books that the engineers did earlier. It was still a slow day, the month just isn't going anywhere. In fact I messed up thinking this was the last week of the month and had a redo a report to allow for another week. Next Friday will be our year end.

We decided to spend some time with friends tonight, so I'll be on chat later.
