Cards - Massage - Budget

We both got up at 9:00. After breakfast we both worked on the 2009 budget. It's not as easy as I thought it would be, you're projecting on what MAY happen not as it happens as I'm doing now. The end result is the same the way I've been doing it but we want more detailed budget like Howard does on the RV-Dreams.

It was almost 1:00 before getting that all done so went for my monthly massage. I stayed with the therapist for awhile just gabbing about Christmas decorations and food. On the way home I stopped at the grocery store for the missing pudding that I needed to make a salad last week. Apple salad with butterscotch pudding, pineapple, whip cream, applies and marshmallows. I finally got that made later in the afternoon. We'll have it for dinner tomorrow night.

When I got home I created a Christmas email letter and also another letter to send to people without computers. I keep up with my friends, but I did a recap of the whole year. When I did that I realized just how much I did get accomplished this year. I'm so looking forward to 2009. While I was working on cards, Jim was working on ideas and lists for the new tool box. He went through the Sears flyers for sales. He's decided on the 5 drawer toolbox. Just another step getting closer.

I then did a bunch of online puzzles, read blogs and went to bed fairly early. This next week will be 9 hour days. It's the last full week of this year.

Days left to order the RV and put the condo up for sale 5 mths 17 days

Howard has been instrumental in helping us move from thinking about RVing to actively pursuing it.

Part of the mystery is figuring how much it is going to cost. I saw his budget and financials and decided we had to come up with one so we werent surprised.

In spite of the economy it looks doable. It can be viewed by clicking on 'My blog topics' under budget and finance.

Hope that helps or at least gives you another data point.

Randy and Pam
