Window Fixed

It's cold again this morning, but since my hours were 9-1, there was no frost by the time I got out to the car.

Work was slow, but there was plenty to do, I just didn't want to do it. We're still getting a lot of resumes and people are dropping by with resumes. Building new homes are slowing and people are getting laid off. Why do companies wait right before Christmas to lay off employees every year? Sad, just hope things get better before long.

I got home in time for the window repair guy to arrive. I couldn't believe he was so young and he knew exactly what was wrong. It's been 11 yrs that we've had a window go up but won't stay up. I've used a ruler to keep it up. It was off the track and all he did was put it back in place. It took about 15 minutes to get the window in the grove, but he got it. All he asked in payment was a couple bucks to pay for some lunch. That was a lot cheaper then the other guy that said we'd have to take the frame off and reset the whole window. I'm glad taht guy never called back.

I watched some shows that I had saved on TiVo and got rid of junk papers. I had 3 bags to throw out. I need to tidy up a bit for Thursday afternoons meeting with the realtor. I'm hoping to sign papers soon to sell the condo. I'm also searching for a storage unit that's close, just in case we'll need one. There's several around and not too far away.
