It was raining most of the day, the fine mist kind that looks like real fine snow. It was 55 degrees so it wasn't a really cold rain. We need it so I'm not complaining.
Work was a rough one, phones ringing, people in and out, Mr boss on another rampage, our temp employee left, and people coming in for interviews. What a day. I was glad to be there only four hours.
I got home at 1:00 in time for the Realtor. She was with me for 2 hours. We discussed the down market, all the stuff I have to change to do a showing, get rid of and make room to make it look spacious and inviting. I need to get everything listed on Craigslist and maybe some on Ebay before putting the place up for sale. She had some wonderful ideas but the selling price is a LOT less than what we thought it would be. She's been in the business for 25 years and it's the worst she's ever seen. She thinks because of the location we may have a chance of selling within a year. She'll be back Sunday to meet with Jim and maybe set a date. It's close, but how close we'll never know. If anyone has a crystal ball and can give an accurate date, let us know. (If you can do that, you'd be rich).
Speaking of houses selling Jesse and Ginger sold their house after 19 months and also Larry & Arlene sold theirs after a year. Congratulations to both of you. (They're from the RV-Dreams family). We're soon going to be in the list of those to sell. Maybe Craigslist will help with that too.
It's still raining, it's getting dark really early, so it's just depressing all around tonight. I emptied the jewelry armoir and it was sold today. I hated to see that go, it was a very special gift from Jim for an anniversary present. That goes along with the fulltime dream, selling stuff you really like.
We'll go over all the paperwork tonight from the Realtor. We've decided not to apply for the apartment in the morning. It might be a long time before we sell the condo, and it sounds like they always have an open apartment at the complex. We also want to keep our options open since my company is moving across town, we may want to move closer to that area. It still will be within 4 miles of mom if we move in that direction. We're doing one step at a time.
Days to put the condo up for sale at the March 1, 2009 date - 3 mths 17 days (that may change)

Well, you know I have been out of touch and I have not read all your journal so I have no idea what you have be up to. I promise to get caught up and get back on chat as soon as I return to Dallas. Sherri will be back today and I will be glad to see her. We leave for Wills Point in the morning.
