I want to thank all those that have emailed and in chat for all the advice and suggestions. We're keeping them all. We'll take all the ideas we can get at this point. I have printed out the past three years lists and checking the things we KNOW we want and keeping the emails on things we still need to consider or to get. We're getting close, so it's all coming together.
It was a cold start of the day at 31 degrees with sunny skies, but that didn't last long. It was snowing by 2:30. It came down hard for a few minutes then the sun came out again with a lot of wind. It's way to early in the season to snow. I hope we don't have a harsh winter this year.
Work was very entertaining today. The guy that just had twins came up missing. He wasn't there when I arrived at 9:00 and still wasn't around by 10:00 when we got a couple calls for him. We sent another employee to the males bathroom to see if he was in there and I decided to check the deli that's behind us and the gym room that's down the hall. I found him behind the set of barbells in the gym area all curled up asleep. The babies are keeping him awake at night and he's super tired. He's coming in late in the mornings and has been told that better stop. I feel sorry for him, BUT we do have a business to run. I asked him if he's named the twins yet and he said they can't all agree on a name, so they have to go to court now to write in the names on the birth certificate. He says they have plenty of time now to give them names. I'll never understand it.
I had a couple emails about interest rates so Jim went to google and put in RV loan rates and came up with all kinds of rates. We'll be ok with 5.5 and 6% so we're on again with the idea of getting the RV early. I'm waiting till it warms up though, no living in something we don't know how to handle in dead of winter. We're still trying to find where they sell the Heartland Pinehurst without traveling to far just to see one.
Jim came home early today so we could meet with my mom's financial advisor. He's optimistic about the economy gaining a lot by this summer. I think we're doing the right thing and he confirmed it to NOT put the condo up for sale too early. He did mention it would go fast if we rented it out, but we don't want that hassle, not now anyway. If it doesn't sell by March 2010, we may think about it more, but we're hoping that doesn't have to happen.
