HAPPY THANKSGIVING - Day with Family

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We have so much to be thankful for. We got up early (7:30) and left by 8:30 after loading the truck with our stuff to take to Wilmington. We arrived at 11:00, we picked mom up on the way.

There were 14 of us this year, quite nice. We had a great meal prepared by Cheryl and Nancy, thank you so much gals, great job!!! Here's Jim's brother, John pulling the turkey out of the deep fryer. It's awesome!

We stayed till about 3:30 but after we ate we walked just down the road to a huge lake that's in Wilmington, Greenfield Lake. It has a four mile path around it but we only did a very little portion of the path, it was getting cool and the sun was going down.

Here's a few pictures of the Lake where it ends. The bridge goes over the end of the lake. Jim's sisters, Robin and Sharon.

I had planned on going geocaching, but neither GPS would find the satellites. We even had trouble with the truck GPS just getting to Jim's brothers place. Luckily, we took a mapquest map with us. We'll have to do that another time, maybe we'll get the satellites next time.

We got back about 7:30. It was a great day and good to be with family. Thanks everyone for a great day.
