First Day Off for August

I got up at 9:00, just too much to do to lay there. It's now getting hot early in the day so after I got something to eat I called mom to see how she was doing. She wanted to get out with me for groceries. She's kept food down the last two days and felt ok. I can hold her up if I needed too, but just can't carry her, so I took the chance. We made it to the grocery store and back but she went straight to bed when we got back. A total of one hour.
Thank you for all those that are thinking about her and praying. It's helping, she's a lot better today then she's been the last week.

When I got home I cooled down then started my list of things to do. I put all the items from the garage sale on ebay/Craigslist. There's sure not much. It took a couple hours to go through everything and get it listed.









I want to thank Phyllis, from the RV-Dreams chatroom for the solution to clean rugs/carpet. I had a couple dark areas and spots and it worked. All you need is hydro peroxide, liquid dish soap and water. I put it in a spray bottle, used a small brush to rub it in then let it sit for about 10 minutes. I then just took an old wash cloth and rubbed over it. I can't believe it! Every mark, dark spot and even coke spots from years ago are gone. Thank you so much. When it cools down a bit I'll do the whole carpet area with my carpet cleaner, it will be faster, and the cost will be so much less then hiring someone. You learn so much in the chatroom. There's normally 5-10 people in at one time, if you have a question, someone will know. Thank you.

The rest of the afternoon I scanned pictures. I also read a couple blogs then read my diaries from 1961-1970. I quit writing after I got married, but I finished out that year, even though I married in March. I have to be honest, I don't remember anything that I read, (not every day). It's like reading someone else's life. It took hours to get all that done, so it's good to be able to do a little each day. I took another hour to sort some of the pictures on the external drive so pictures are easier to find.
