We were up at 6:00, got breakfast at a McDonalds and met up with our son's fiancee by 7:30. It's quite a drive from their place to the Midway airport so we wanted plenty of time. We were two hours early but we both brought books to read. When it was time to load we heard our names announced. The flight was way overbooked so they wanted us to book with another airline and have free tickets anywhere in the US that we can use within the next year. That may come in handy, so we took the other flight that went straight to Raleigh rather then going to Atlanta and wait a couple hours more. What a deal. Since we're military, we went to the USO at the airport and watched TV, ate and I got caught up on the blogs on the computers.
We got back to Raleigh 15 minutes earlier then planned, which is abnormal these days and went to the bus stop to pick up the park bus to get back to the car. When we were on route, Jim heard something on the CB radio the bus driver had about a tan bag left on the bench. Well, that was our camera case, or hoping it was. Jim noticed we didn't have it. We hurried to the car, drove around to where we left the case and waited for the bus to come back around to us. Yep, that was it. Our first time out with a brand new camera (SLR) and all the pictures we took. Whew, talk about someone up above looking out for us. An employee was kind enough to turn it in to the bus driver that came up behind our bus. That was a scary moment.
At home we relaxed, and we're both trying to sort out over 400 pictures. I'll get more posting done tonight and finish it up tomorrow since I don't work. We're already trying to figure out when and where we'll go with the newly received airline tickets.

Gee, How fortunate you were to get your camera case back ! It pays to have those little tags on everything.
Now, back to work for a while.

That's what was so scary, there were NO tags on it. The employee picked it up knowing it was not suppose to be there. What luck!!
