Quiet Time

It was great this morning. I slept so sound last night, that I woke up with Jim (6:45) and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm feeling great and rested today. It got up to 70 and the sun was out, can't ask for anything better.

Since I didn't have to leave for work till 11:30 I did some quiet time which I haven't done in a very long time. I used to do meditation everyday, but got away from it, don't know why, just did. It was about 1/2 hour of just sitting with nothing but soft music. It's great to do that, just need to do it more.

I'm trying to figure out why the tickets and cops stopping me. One thing that hit me was to slow down. I'm a person that hurries with everything, including the days to get on the road. It shows in my driving, my living and my speech. I talk too fast a lot of times. I guess the not stopping at stop signs and now taking a toll on the pocketbook and the money we need for retirement is really getting to me. I figure that's the reason; I need to slow down.

After I got breakfast, I got online and opened chat. Our younger son was online and so was Sandra from RV-dreams. She's on her way to Canada from a winter stay in TX/AZ area. They're sitting out today for storms, so good to chat with her in the morning hours. Thanks to both of you.

I got to work at noon and didn't do much today. I'm suppose to be doing a lot of college stuff on the internet to find new employees, but we only have one computer for internet and it was busy with everyone looking up State information. I basically just talked to the boss and pretended to be busy. That makes for a long day, even though it was only 5 hours.

Nothing new the rest of the evening. I did some puzzles and back on RV-dreams chat.
Oh, we did decide to just pay the court fees and forget about court. The insurance is going to go up, but we'll deal with it. We'll just have to be extra careful for the next three years.
