We’ll see them a couple more times this year hopefully. They’re selling their house so they’ll be on the road full time before long. Thanks you two for coming to our park for a visit.

There was a flea market and baked goods sale at the clubhouse this morning. It was advertised in local media, which brought in some folks from outside the park. There were things for sale from chairs to homemade crafts and even paintings.

One of the couple was selling mostly larger items, so they set up outdoors.

A while back we posted a picture of this street legal indycar.

Since then we've met the owner and learned more about it. He's a solo RV'er and uses this car as his daily driver. At night he keeps it in the trailer you see in background in the photo above. He occasionally brings it to his motorhome to tinker with it, but if he's not driving it it's in the trailer.

It's a one-seater, and he even does his grocery shopping in it. He buys no more than one bag at a time and carries it home on the floor at his feet. In this photo the steering wheel has been removed, which he has to do to get in and out of it.

The engine is a Chevy small block stroked to 383 c.i., and has 530 h.p. The whole car weights only 1,600 lbs, and the owner says it's capable of going over 200 mph.    All I know is it sounds like a NASCAR stocker when he starts it up.

Pretty crazy if you ask me! And no, I didn't ask if I could drive it. :)

We settled in after our walks today and got caught up on some TV shows and blogs. Thanks to Selene we learned how to use Google Reader for our blog reading. You can list all the blogs that you read and it indicates if a new post has been updated. It keeps us from having to go to each and every blog to see if there's a new update. That’s going to save us a lot of time.

Our youngest son Rick and his wife Laura are in Kenya, Africa on a mission trip with their church group. They have a new update on their blog. If you're interested, here's the link:
